Arabic Script is written from right to left and requires an Arabic Operating System. These are included as standard in modern Macintosh, Windows, UNIX and LINUX operating Systems. Earlier Operating Systems, may require specialised keyboard drivers. Applications must also be able to support Arabic writing. Most Arabic character sets contain all the appropriate independent and contextual letterforms, common logotypes, diacritics, and a choice of Arabic and [usually] Latin numerials. |
