With ScanFont, you can turn graphics into fonts. Any bitmap image or outline illustration* can be quickly converted into a fully-workable font.

ScanFont 3 for Windows is a stand-alone application that supports bitmap graphics. ScanFont 4 for Mac supports bitmap and outline graphics and works as a plugin for FontLab 4.6 or TypeTool.

New features in version 4.0 for Mac:

• Support for grayscale and color – from simple black-and-white to 32-bit color with smooth transparency
• Direct import of EPS graphics – assists you in turning your Adobe Illustrator® drawings into a font
• Professional image editing tools, transformations and filters – from Pencil to Gaussian blur

• Direct import of most image formats, including PDF
• Works natively in Mac OS X
