| In the last decade there has been an enormous increase in the variety of magazines published, particularly those aimed at specific niches. Photographic montaging of the cover is a popular way of trying to capture attention, but in the main it produces a busy look that overwhelms the typography. The design of most magazines falls into one of two camps, radical and experimental or conservative and elegant. Both seem to work in their respective arenas. |
