In many cases the business card is a variation of the letterhead, but problems arise when the persons name does not occupy sufficient space on the card. Set the name in a large point size and it spoils the design, set it in the appropriate text size and it tends to become lost. This is why wide typefaces such as Copperplate Gothic are favoured, particularly if they have small caps.
